Matchday 17 - Wordsley Wasps Stingers (H)

Coach Said: 
Under 10's game V Wordsley Wasps Stingers.  

A very physical game from the start unfortunately going * down after 10 minutes and had a few incidents including 2 hand balls missed, leading to both goals put us behind at half time. 

Started the second half really well continuing to put pressure on pulling one back. With chances both ends, we'd pulled it back to *-* and also missing a penalty. With only a few minutes to go to try and level the game we got caught and they punished us. 

Overall a really good game from both sets of kids and on another day it could have been 5 to us

Matchday 16 - Kewford Eagles Stars (H)

Coach Said: 
Withymoor CUnder 10's V Kewford Eagles . 
A very one sided game controlling the whole game from the start, moving our players around with our usual defenders taking turns up front along with our goalkeeper even playing out to try and make it a competitive game along with Kewford having extra players on the pitch

Alastair for under 10's Managers Panther of the day for his brilliant work rate and adapting really well to a different role 👏

Under 10's Parents players of the day was Jack for a brilliant hat-trick, including a wonderful overhead bicycle kick 😀 amazing goal 👏 👌 😀

Matchday 15 - Withymoor Colts (A)

Coach Said: 
Withymoor Colts East vs Sedgley Panthers (A)

Under 10's V Withymoor Colts, we started really well, playing some lovely football and working together as a team, eventually scoring a much deserved goal to take us into half time *-*.

Second half continued where we finished the first, moving the ball quickly and finding the spare player. Our second came from a great team effort, with brilliant control and vision. A little complacency at * up led to them gaining a little momentum and creating a few chances of their own hitting the post and eventually getting their deserved goal. Last 10 minutes calmed down and started to work together again and eventually after a flurry of chances we eventually, forced a mistake in their defence leading to a corner and an own goal .

A really good overall performance 👏

POTM ~ Panther of the day was Jacob for a brilliant overall performance, reading and understanding of the game and also his superb distribution.

A good game today for under 10's V Cradley Town with some cracking football from both teams , final score

Matchday 13 - Netherton Colts West (H)

Coach Said: 
Started really well today,  passing the ball around and creating chances from the first minutes, holding our shape a lot better and eventually getting our first goal quickly followed by * more. *-* up starting the second half gave us the opportunity to try a few players in unfamiliar roles and they adapted really well scoring our * not long after the restart, their extra player leveled the game a little, but we still looked the better team. A brilliant game for everyone today 👏 👍

Ethan for his relentless work rate and brilliant attitude.
Brannen for his unselfishness and his team work and attitude to create chances throughout the game. 

Matchday 12 - Smethwick Raiders

Coach Said: 
A really good game where we were much the better team but simply couldn't score, a few silly errors leading to * early goals had us chasing the game within the first 10 minutes and unfortunately getting caught out pushing leading to * more against the flow. Final score

Matchday 11 - Gornal Athletic

Coach Said: 
Starting really slowly giving position away cheaply , slowly getting into the game we went * up after a good quick attack . Second half we played much better and controlled the majority of the second half but unfortunately conceded a goal against the run of play . A really good game played with passion from both side final score *-*

POTM was awarded to Tyler for great saves and overall performance.

Matchday 10 - Cradley Town

Unfortunately I was unable to attend due to a ACL injury but Under 10's Played Cradley Town 
From reports it was a very good game with chances both ends finishing * -*

Matchday 9 - Sedgley & Gornal

Coach Said: 
Sedgley & Gornal vs Sedgley Panthers U10s (A)

Started really well with a few early chances missed, unfortunately getting caught out with their counter attack and a brilliant strike, back to pretty much controlling the game we got caught out again with confusion at the back ending with them scoring a second *-* Definitely wasn't deserved and we soon got 1 back, then a second quickly straight after and eventually going on to score * more and playing the better football.

Matchday 8 - Billbrook Juniors

Coach Said: 
Under 10's V Billbrook Juniors 

Started well with end to end opportunity's but let ourselves down with lack of communication and thinking the ball was going out, only for the opposition to chase and break really quickly and taking the lead. 

They all quickly lifted their heads and in quick succession scored * goals to put us in front and from there we gained confidence and continued to push forward eventually winning *-* .

A brilliant overall performance with only 7 players and even going down to 6 through injury, we still looked competitive . A big well done to everyone today giving 100% 👏 👍

Matchday 7 - Netherton Colts

Coach Said: 
Netherton Colts West vs Sedgley Panthers 

Today under 10's played Netherton Colts, from the start we pressed well and kept our shape making it really difficult for the opposition to break when they did win the ball. *-* up at half time with a great team performance, linking up really well and dominating most of the game, although we did lose concentration allowing them a few shots that our stand in keepers delt with really well. 

Second half was pretty much the same as the first with us passing and creating chances and even with the opposition having extra players on the pitch, to give them a chance we still looked the better side. Final score *-* to Panthers, a really good team performance with all giving 100% 👏 🙌 👍

Matchday 6 - Sedgley & Gornal

Coach Said: 
Under 10's V Sedgely & Gornal.  

Started really strong, dominating throughout the whole game, creating chance after chance but their keeper keeping them in the game. Final score ** to us but could and should have been more like 6/7 👍. 

Asking the kids how they felt after the game they had mixed feelings towards us being quiet so an experience but most said they missed guidance. Something we can possibly work on in training to give them more responsibility.

Under 10's player of the day was Brannen for never giving up , hard work rate and a well deserved winning goal 👏 👍

Matchday 5 - Withymoor Colts West

Coach Said: 
Started the game really well, winning the ball and dominating the middle of the park. Good distribution and football played between themselves and on another day could of had a few more goals if it hadn't of been for good defence work and saves from the keeper. End result *-* to Panthers, with a really good competitive game from both sides 👏

Matchday 4 - Oldbury United FC Lions 

Coach Said: 
A very physical team and unfortunately we were second best from the start. Although we played the better football at times  we never got any rythem going and in the final 3rd our decision making was poor and we were simply pushed off the ball to easily.

Sedgley Panthers vs Oldbury United Lions 
Started really poor giving the ball away needlessly, along with poor decision making leading to some sloppy goals in the first half. The second half started very much the same. A little disappointing how easy we let them play.

Matchday 2 - Netherton Colts

Under 10's player of the day , I chose 3 players Jacob ,Tyler & Jack 
For listening and working hard for the team .

A really close game form start to finish with some really good football from both sides . 
Unfortunately ended up losing x-x but with lots of positives to be taken from our game.

Dominated from the start and never let our shape or commitment drop, even with them having 9/10 players on the pitch we still controlled the game.
