Rocksports 5 - 1

Coach said: U17s last game of the season today.
Played Rocksports and with our keeper injured and out the season.
Winning 1-0 at HT ,then they came back 1-1 , We eventually won 5-1 .
Good finish to the season, finishing 3rd in the league.

Match 1 - won 3-0
Match 2 - 1-1,  but abandoned with 14 mins to go (Player injury and ambulance called, player all ok 👍)

Coach said: Started off well in our first game getting off to good start; with his  first goal for us  Pharrell Edwards we finished the  game 1.1.
​Lads heads went down but picked their self up for second game and came from behind to win 4.1.

Withymoor FC (a) 0 - 0/ 2 - 1 (double header)

Coach said: 1st Game - we were much the better team but lacked the goal; drew 0-0.
2nd Game - went 0-1 ahead then 1-1 before going down to 9 players in the last ten minutes eventually losing 2-1 - good performance all round despite 1 Red & 1 sin bin 😤.

Matt said:  U17s played Wombourne fc away today. Getting our first point of the season with a 2-2 draw, goals from Alex and Brook overall a good performance first game back after lockdown. Man of the match today was Harry never stopped running unlucky not to win it at the end with the Wombourne keeper making a great save from Harrys shot. Final score 2-2

Halas Hawks (h) 1 - 11

Matt said:  U17s played Halas Hawks today in their first game of the season. Great start with 5 new lads starting; went 1-0 up through MW with a well taken goal. After that we lost concentration, conceding 3 goals in 3 minutes, not much happened then after with Halas totally dominating the game. Final score Halas Hawks 11-1 Sedgley Panthers.
