Coach Said: Under 8's games: 1st game lost X -X v Brewood 2nd game lost X-X v Warley. Both extremely close games and only little mistakes making the difference and the score line definitely not representing the performances with all the kids working really hard . J winning POTM for his work rate and a stunning goal . Results difficult to take after such a brilliant team performance.

Coach Said: Under 8's first win X-X against Bloxwich but should have been 3 or 4 . Second game eventually losing X-X in a really good game, very unlucky not to have come away with at least a draw. POTM N worked really well, topped of with a goal. Well done N.

Coach Said: Under 8's 1st game losing X-X, missed opportunities, lack of concentration and a few mistakes leading to some sloppy goals. Second game lost X-X, terrible conditions with the rain and having to wait 30 minutes in the cold didn't help . Lots of work needed in training. POTM B, chosen by the parents for her hard work.

Coach Said: Brilliant performance today from them all, drawing the first game 1-1, showing good enthusiasm even though going 1 down very early on never gave up and got the goal they deserved. Second game started a little slow and conceded within first few minutes but again showed good energy and desire to keep working hard very unlucky not to get anything from the game. All a learning experience and kids enjoyed both games. This week I asked the parents to pick for under 8's player of the match. Tyler was chosen for some very good saves, brave decision making and good distribution.

Coach Said: Under 8's lost 6-0 against Sedgley & Gornal. Starting really well and in the game until 2nd half where we lost concentration. 2nd game was a really close game against Brewood colts 3 mistakes leading to 3 goals brilliant game and a much improved performance.
Matchday 1 - 11/04/2021
Coach Said: Very tough opening weekend of games for Under 8's . First game losing 12 - 0 unfortunately never really in the game although they all worked really hard and gave their all we look understandably nervous. Second game lost 7 - 1 Started the second game alot better and after a brilliant free kick from Jacob and Romeo's rebound goal we looked a little more relaxed but unfortunately even with some brilliant individual performances they were also a little to strong for us . With the first games gone we have plenty to work on and i'm sure with confidence the performances will improve.
