Coach Said: Game 1 vs Footworks Lions
A great start to the game moving the ball well and pressing high up the pitch going into half time *-* up.. but then footworks made it hard for the boys in the 2nd half.. moving the ball quickly and putting us under a lot of pressure. Never the less the panthers never gave up and tried to pull it back.. man of the match Riley for making some very good saves..
Game 2 vs Wyrley Raptors
Again an excellent start to the games with 2 goals scored early in the half down to some excellent passing and team work. 2nd half the boys were sent out to defend and manage the game.. they also did their jobs well ensuring we got the *-*win.. man of the match Jacob for excellent defensive work!

Coach Said: Game 1 vs Barnhurst Lions.
An excellent start today from the boys with some good passing and movement off the ball. Defensively worked hard and Jacob stepping into the defensive role doing a great job at the back. 2nd half not much changed the boys that came on did a fantastic job and played some really good football. Man of the match game 1 Harry for great teamwork and setting up goals for his team mates.. well done Harry⚽️💜🖤
Game 2 vs Coven Utd
Pretty much the same as the first game. Working hard and winning the ball high up the pitch again some good movement off the ball finding spaces and players with the ball making good decisions picking the right passes. Man of the match for game 2 - Jack for excellent footwork and helping the team get into attacking positions ⚽️💜🖤

Matchday 26 - 24/04/2022 Coach Said: First game v hednesford town lost *-* we created chances but could not put the ball in the net and they took there's but lads kept going and never gave up man of the match Oscar. For his great clearances and defending Second game v sportsco we went a goal up great finish from Ellis. Then gave away a goal but credit to the lads kept going and right at the end good goalkick from Riley cross from Ellis for Tommy to finish *-* to the panthers man of the match Ellis for his first game and teamwork

Game 1 vs Great Wyrley
An excellent start to the day with a *-* great passing and movement off the ball something we will continue to work on in training. Man of the match from Game 1 Oliver for finding a space in the oppositions box and scoring the winning goal. 🏆
Game 2 vs Coven United
This time round a tougher opposition and a different formation again some good team work and passing this time with a *-* draw.. man of the match went to Tommy for excellent communication on the pitch and good defensive work 🏆

Coach Said: Game 1 vs Pelsall Villa A tough game against a decent team and it was hard to get going not finding much space and struggling to keep and control the ball.. 2nd half was a little better but still not quite enough to get a goal. Man of the match Eoin for his excellent work rate again..🏆 Game 2 vs Black Country Hunters A better start to this game.. some good passing into spaces and working as a team, going into half time 0-0 we still had chance to win the game.. but unfortunately after half time Black Country came out the stronger team scoring 2 quick goals and a 3rd late in the game to take the win.. credit to the boys they never gave up but we must work more as a team. Man of the match for game 2 Lewis for very good defensive work and also getting the ball up the pitch when needed. 🏆 Matchday 21 - 13/03/2022
Coach Said: Today the boys have shown they can play football and be competitive when they play as a TEAM. They have all been told today and previous weeks the results are not important they are at the age now when they learn to play football and that is what’s most important learning to play the game and following instructions.

Game 2 vs Bustlehome A slow start to this game going *-* down but then after half time the Panthers came out and got * well deserved goals to draw the game *-*. Man of the match for this game Eion. Very impressive work rate on and off the ball today with some important defensive challenges.. 🏆
Matchday 20 - 06/03/2022
Coach Said: The boys have had a couple of bad weeks where the results are concerned and I have and will always tell them that the results are irrelevant. However what I do expect from all of them is discipline and effort. Something they have all shown in the past especially the first 5 weeks of this year. Wether the number of wins this year has implemented a level of complacency I’m not sure but we have to iron out these creases and get back to playing the football I know the boys are capable of. Regardless of the past 2 weeks I’m confident all parents will agree the boys can and have done better.. Game 1 today vs Brewood A tough game which we probably could have won but again for what ever reason the boys haven’t been in their top game something I will continue to work on with training.. some good passing and a few chances infront of goal maybe deserved to get a goal. Man of the match archie for his effort and first time playing outfield due to his poorly finger. Game 2 vs Brownhills Again another game we could have won but something we must work on on training. In parts some good passing and defensive work and a goal from out 2nd man of the Match Oliver to get us a draw in the 2nd game. See you all again Friday.

Coach Said: Great effort today from the boys.. very cold and wet morning a new face to the team and new positions for some players to learn. It will all come but we are now playing better teams than we have done the past 6/7 weeks..

A positive start to the day with some good passing and movement off the ball.. few chances infront of goal with one chance put in the net giving us a *-* win in the first game. Man of the match Riley for some excellent goalkeeping and keeping a clean sheet
Game 2 vs TT elite
A tougher game this time against a stronger team, again despite the weather all players put a lot of effort in and did their best.. the downfall to the 2nd game was not controlling the football as well as we can.. something we will continue to work on in training.. man of the match for this game Connor.. excellent effort and work rate in his first games for the panthers..

We controlled the ball well passing it around confidently, with a high work rate man of the match for the 1st game Brooklyn for excellent defensive work and commitment infront of goal to get into attacking positions.
Game 2 vs Coven united
A tougher game this time round but still with a little more concentration we could have won the game. A slower start to this game and a couple players out of position meant we couldn’t move the ball effectively. Something we need to work on in training and will improve on the next couple weeks. Man of the match for game to.. Oscar for excellent defensive work abs the desire to get the ball up the pitch

Coach Said: Excellent games today Game 1 vs Creswell Wolfs Great start to the game today very quick start and high levels of energy. Moving the ball as we have done in training and applying it in games on Sunday mornings. Man of the match went to Lewis for his hard work and effort to get involved in the game making some key passes that lead to goals. Well done Lewis.
Game 2 vs Sportico Another good game with a lot of teamwork against a team that we’re a lot bigger than our boys. Credit to them they carried on and battled hard to come back to a *-* draw.. unlucky not to win the game but never the less we made it to 10 games unbeaten.. man of the match for game 2 Oscar for very good defensive work.

Coach Said: Another 2 great performances from the panthers today 8 wins in a row now which in its self is an incredible achievement.. well done. Game 1 - vs sky force A very energetic performance with a high press winning the ball early and high up the pitch helped the boys get an early lead and at half time we were 5-0 up.. and a similar second half saw us finish the game with a clean sheet.. man of the match Carter with 5 excellent goals and great strength on the ball.
Game 2 vs white eagles This game against a tougher opponent we set up in the same way. Pressing high up the Picts not allowing the opposition to move the ball around, this time round our stand in keeper Joseph did a fantastic job of keeping us in the game and helping us get the 8th consecutive win.. man of the match Joseph 👏👏

Coach Said: Excellent effort from all the boys today and really proud of all of them. Each player is starting to understand the game and play as a team. Game 1 vs sportsco saints won *-* A very good game from Start to finish controlling the game both with and without possession restricting the opposition when they had the ball and taking full advantage off the possession when we had the ball moving it well and scoring * goals. Man of the match Joseph for his excellent work off the ball getting into good positions and creating lots of chances.
Game 2 vs Coven United won *-* Another convincing performance moving the ball well and creating lost of chances, this time having to do some more defensive work but in stepped our 2nd man of the match Tommy with his best defensive performance to date.

Game 1 vs Creswell Wolfs Another good game against Creswell today fantastic individual performances from all players from both goal keepers to the attacking players taking what they have learnt in training and applying to game situations.. man of the match for game one Brooklyn for his hard work on and off the ball getting his goal as a reward. 🏆
Game 2 vs Sportico Another convincing victory with a game that consisted of teamwork and finding spaces all players again following instructions well playing as a team and scoring plenty of goals.. there have been a lot of positives from todays game and it’s all credit to the boys.. player of the match again for a fantastic goal and finding space on the pitch.. Coach Said: Game 1 vs Footwork Academy: A tough game against a new team with experienced players but the panthers showed resistance and battled hard some new players joining the team and fitting in well. Man of the match - L for his hard work off the ball to get back and help defend
Game 2 vs TT ELITE. This game against a team more on our level this gave the panthers more time on the ball to build confidence and in parts play some good team football putting together some good passes. Man of the match Eoin, excellent work today and very close to scoring his first goal for the panthers.. hitting the inside of the post and the ball stopping on the line 😩😩

Coach Said: Game 1 vs Ace Fc : Going into what we expected to be a very tough game against a well established team the boys took what they learnt in training and applied it in the game. With the exception of the boys who weren’t at training but still did very well.. Player of the match - Oscar for some excellent defensive work and good passing
Game 2 vs Lane Head: Most definitely a game of 2 halves with the boys playing the best 10 minutes of football that both me and Paul have seen them play excellent passing and moving along with excellent defensive work from the boys.. however the 2nd half was the opposite and there was a lack of concentration and discipline meaning lane head could score 4 goals to take the win.. Player of the match - Carter for his very good ball control and desire to win the ball back. Well done to all the boys looking forward to training Friday. See you then ⚽️🐈⬛

Coach Said: Very pleased with todays performances after last weeks results...unlucky in both games and could have easily got 2 wins.. but again it’s something for us to work on In training on Friday.
Game 1 - Pelsall Villa Another close game against pelsall the team who beat us in the semi final of the cup run 3 weeks ago. A good performance from the panthers with a lot of hard work from all the boys, some dips in concentration which put pelsall on the front foot and allowed them too many chances on goal with them scoring 3 to our 2 goals.. Player of the match - R👍⚽️🏆
Game 2 - vs Creswell wolfs Again another game against a team we have previously beaten players being drawn into the ball allowed the creswell players space infront of goal to take shots, some hard work all round from the panthers.. excellent free kicks and corners from Brooklyn and his first goal for the panthers earned him player of the match for game 2. Wel done B🏆👍⚽️

Coach Said: 2 very difficult games today against good opposition and the boys again put a lot of effort in..
Game 1 vs DP Elite: Tough game from kick off to the final whistle against a team that moved the ball well between players but the panthers didn’t let that put them off some good passing at times and the same with the defensive work, hard for our keeper Archie who played every minute of both games we conceded alot of goals in the first game but Archie kept a positive attitude and concentration the whole game and for that reason he got our player of the match in game 1 well done Archie..
Game 2 vs Bustlehome: Another tough game but after a chat with the panthers there was an improvement from the first game more passing and a few more chances created on goal. Good performance in game 2.
Player of the match - Joseph for his hard work and constant running to win the ball..
Me and Paul both agree that the 2 week break probably hasn’t done the boys any favours but the boys have been told it’s 100% back at training next week and we go again to continue their progression. Panthers ay we 🐈⬛
Matchday 8 - 24/10/2021
Coach Said: Game 1 vs pelsall Not the best of conditions to be playing football first thing in the morning. Never the less the boys showed a positive attitude and got on the pitch. Pelsall took an early lead but with a new corner routine panthers found the back of the net to bring the game level.. some good teamwork and passing from the boys getting the ball into dangerous positions but unfortunately no more goals for the panthers a couple of mistakes we have put down to the horrible conditions lead to pelsall taking the lead and winning the game..
Man of the match - J 🏆⚽️for his hard work defending and excellent passing doing exactly what he was asked of him.
Game 2 vs Creswell wolfs Another closely contested game between the panthers and wolfs the positional play from the panthers is improving week after week, again great attitude and concentration the panthers got the result they deserved a fantastic win to give the boys a boost of confidence after the semi final.
Man of the match - T⚽️🏆 over the past 3/4 weeks T has put a lot of effort into training and he put everything he has learnt into the game today and earnt himself this trophy 🏆

Matchday 7 - 17/10/2021
Coach Said: Again just to reiterate what Paul said earlier, to get to a semi final after just 3 months of being together the progression the boys have shown in a short space of time is credit to the hard work they put in at training. We have explained to them following the semi final today that the next cup games will be in the new year and the target is to get to the final. Both me and Paul are very confident this can happen.
Matchday 6 - 10/10/2021
Coach Said: Excellent effort from all again today and 2 wins on a Sunday morning for the first time for the boys that in its self speaks volumes for how far the boys have come in such a short period of time but with the same hard work and dedication there is a lot more progression to come. Game 1 vs Bustlehome
A fairly even game to start with with chances at both ends for either team, only 1 shot on target in the first half which came from a Bustlehome free kick, into the second half and the panthers stuck to their positions winning the ball and passing well resulting in * goals from our striker C gave the panthers the first victory of the morning and a boost in confidence going into the second game.
Man of the match for game 1 - C for his all round performance 🏆⚽️
Game 2 vs Black Country Hunter
A first quarter final for the panthers in the under 8’s season and hopefully not the last, again a lot of high energy and plenty of running from all of the team lots of passing and great team work from everyone. A nice early goal for the panthers put us in good a good position for the rest of the game, one mistake from the defence allowed Black Country Hunter to have a shot on target and the equalised. Full time *-* and onto penalties.. huge pressure on all 3 of the boys taking penalties it’s not as easy as it looks never the less they managed to win *-* on penalties. Both Lewis and Joseph putting the ball in the net and a super save from A to stop the 3rd penalty from Black Country Hunters and putting us through to the semi finals next week..

Matchday 5 - 03/10/2021
Coach Said: Game 1 vs Creswell Wolves
Again, a very good start to the Sunday morning with a *-* win playing a new formation, which was a big change for the boys but it seems to have worked getting all the players more involved in the game, Oliver taking full advantage of that scoring his first goal to get us off the mark, followed up by a goal from the front man Carter, in both halves the 3 boys at the back doing their jobs to help both keepers keep a clean sheet.
Player of the match - O, for his hard work good passing and first goal for the panthers (hopefully the first of many)
Game 2 vs Shelfield
This game was always going to be a test with the opposition being bigger and all round more physical but never the less the boys battled hard to keep a clean sheet in the first half, 2nd half however Shelfield found the net with 2 unstoppable shots, the only 2 shots they had on target the whole game again credit to the hard work of the boys not letting team run past them.

Coach Said: Game 1 vs Silverdale Albion
Excellent effort from all the boys in game 1 working very hard with high concentration levels. We did concede an early goal but the boys rallied together and put * in the oppositions net * of them coming from our man of the match C....
Game 2 vs White Eagles
This time a more closely contested game, again the boys played well in the first half with a high work rate.. however the 2nd half the concentration levels dropped a little allowing the opposition to sneak a couple of goals in and take the win.. man of the match for game 2 was O for his hard work and good concentration during the game..
Just to mention J in his debut, thrown in the deep end really, as we didn’t have many subs today he got a lot of game time and worked very hard unlucky not to get a goal of his own.

Coach Said: Game 1 vs Great Barr Harriers : After a bit of a slow start in the first game going into half time *-* down the boys came back fighting in the 2nd half keeping a clean sheet and finding the net twice with some great team play, excellent passing from the back at times and brilliant running and tracking back to help out by the attackers. Player of the match went to Riley for some great work between the posts and concentration levels when he’s on the pitch..
Game 2 vs NVP Football Academy:
A very tough game this time against a physical team that took our players out of the game as much as they could but never the less the boys carried on and tried their best playing all the way to the final whistle, player of the match for this game was Archie for again high concentration levels in goal and having to deal with a lot of shots..
Well done to both of our keepers today, it’s a tough job for keepers in games like today when we concede a lot of goals but to have them come of the pitch with a smile on their face is always a bonus.
All of the boys seem to be enjoying themselves and they are a great bunch of lads, hopefully once the teams are separated into even divisions and we can play more teams on our level and build confidence..

Coach Said: Excellent effort from all the boys today and yet more progression made no matter how big or small the steps are we are moving in the right direction.. *Game 1* Most definitely a game of 2 halves seemed a little lost and out of position which resulted in conceding 6 goals but after a talk at half time and a lot mor concentration from the boys we managed to keep a clean sheet against a tough opponent. O for me got man of the match with some great defensive work ⚽️⚽️ *Game 2* Completely different game this time the boys had more time on the ball and used it well to control the game well from start to finish. Some very good finishing and team work throughout the game. Especially L and C moving the ball between themselves infront of goal.. Very difficult to select a man of the match for this game but C hard work and constant running along with his goals edged it for him this week.. well done C... Not to mention the boys have got their first win 🏆

Coach Said: Before the game I had a talk with the boys and emphasised that the results from the first few games are irrelevant what myself and Paul are looking for is good teamwork and movement of the ball, questions are being asked by the boys are this team good and my response every time will be “we are as good as any team in this age group as long as we play as a team”

Excellent effort from start to finish, passing the ball moving around the pitch finding spaces when we were attacking and then working really hard to win the ball back in defence looking to get the ball up to the forward players.. very unlucky not to get a draw from this game the only difference between the teams being a penalty they scored their penalty and we missed out by a small margin.. man of the match from this game Carter..

This time against a tougher opponent, good teamwork again but less time on the ball to pick a pass so difficult for us to keep possession and get the ball to the forward players never the less we managed to find the net late in the game * - * loss this time round and an excellent penalty save from Riley earns him man of the match..
