The Match:
Matchday 18 - 15/05/2022 Old Wulfs v Sedgley Panthers Jungle U12; Result 2 -0 . Great game and great performance from Jungle conceded a goal from a long range free kick mid way thru the 1st half however Panthers dominated play but missed there chances in front of goal. 2nd half panthers played well with good free flowing pass and move football. With a minute to go we pushed while team fwd looking for the equaliser however the ball broke free and the Wulfs fwd broke and scored as the final whistle blew. Well done Wulfs on there promotion Great Team great club. Our POTM Zayan - superb performance at Left back strong in the tackle and great distribution of the ball. Well done Zayan 👍⚽️👍
Matchday 17 - 08/05/2022 Ridge Panthers U12 v Sedgley Panthers Jungle U12 Score 1-2 Really good game today - Panthers started well but couldn't find a way past Ridges keeper who was in great form. We fell behind with 10 mins of 1st half left then with a minute before half time our Goalkeeper Evan made a brilliant penalty save to keep us in the game at the break. After positive team talk Jungle came out strongly in the 2nd half and started to play some great football. After going close on a number of occasions great thru ball from Luca sent Tom free down the right he cut into the box and finished superbly to make it 1-1. End to end game with Alfie /Alex/ Luca all going close. However with a few minutes remaing superb ball over the top from Alex put Alfie thru who took the ball in his stride to calmly slotted the ball past the keeper to make it 1-2 to Panthers and start huge celebrations from the team. However the game still wasnt finished and with a minute left Ridge were awarded a free kick on the edge of our box there keeper came up and Liam made a great save and some great defending thwarted the danger.and the ball played out to Matt on the wing whose long shot from narrowly went wide with there Keeper desperately trying to get back. Great to hear the final whistle a good win for Jungle. POTM was our 1st half goalie Evan, who made some fine saves and kept u in the game with his penalty save just before half time - Well done Evan 👍👍👍
Matchday 16 - 10/04/2022 Sedgley Panthers Jungle U12 v Bilbrook score 4-1 - Good game POTM given out jointly to Zhan and Liam both outstanding performances - Zhan tidy and strong at left back and Liam played great on right side of midfield and opened the scoring for Panthers with his 1st goal for the team.
Matchday 15 - 13/03/2022 BILLSBROOK U12 V PANTHERS Jungle U12 score 2-5 - Good game goals from Matt,Tom Alfie ,Tyler and Ryan.
Matchday 14 - 06/03/2022 U12 result 2- 2 - Goals from Tom and Alex POTM Mathew - really good hardworking display on the left side - good use of the ball and good wing play.
Matchday 13 - 27/02/2022 Panthers Jungle v Gornal Result 1-5 - in summary this report is short as i am lost for words when we have to highlight that after 20 mins of 1st half there player got sent off for swinging his fists at one of our players then using disgraceful language at a couple of our players mothers - and their parents in summary using death threats against our parents - it probably sums it up that Gornal awarded the sent off player man of the match - This is just not what the game should be about.
Matchday 12 - 13/02/2022 Tividale Puma U12 v Panthers Jungle U12 result 4-1 - really good game 1st half Panthers dictated the play but just cannot find the composure in front of gail to convert there chances we could and should have scored at least 3. Again against the run of play Tividale with the wind behind scored to lead nil at the interval. 2 nd half Panthers pressed well - went 2 behind to a very dubious home penalty decision and again with Panthesr on top playing neat football in difficult conditions reduced the defecit from a great goal from Matt. However on top failed again Panthers missed 3 clear 1 on 1 chances. Late on Pumas number 9 scored 2 goals to finnish the match as run out winners. Not to be downbeat Panthers more than matched Tividale but work needed to convert the many chances we create - fine margins between winning and losing at the moment. We keep goin POTM Matt.
Matchday 11 - 06/02/2022 U12 v Sedgley Panthers Jungle U12 score 3 -1 - Due to a waterlogged pitch at Old Wulfs both teams agreed to get the game on at Firefields Pitch - Panthers conceded a sloppy goal right from kick off to which knocked there confidence however they dug in and played some good football. However very disappointing to again given a very soft goal away to find themselves further behind. Great chance to get back into the game after 20 mins for a penalty for handball however the reulting spot kick hit the bar. The boys were undeterred and kept going to half time. Panthers started 2nd half brightly and pressed however another poor goal was conceded against the run of play. Not to be deterred Panthers pressed and Alex scored a great headed goal from a great free kick from Ryan. On we pressed and had 2 chances kicked off the line when the team couldnt find that final touch and then a further to good efforts finished wrong side of either post.A good game played in the right spirit. A kind word for ref (me) who tried to run the game a fairly as possible however is now sitting resting his aching knees as the years are catching up with him lol 🤣😂 pass me the ralgex please 🙂
Matchday 10 - 30/01/2022 U12s Safari vs Jungle Derby, was a good game from start to finish, the game just needed a goal but neither team could convert their chances. Final score 0-0.
POTM Today for safari was Logan for some fantastic saves.
Matchday 9 - 16/01/2022
U 12 Jungle 1-0 - Wrens Nest U12 - Superb display from the team today - started the 1st have brightly looking to play the ball on the ground and into the spaces where possible - defence superbly marshalled by our back 3 of Alfie ,Ryan and Zahan and our superb keeper Liam - end to end game after 29 mins we broke 4wd and after good cross Zahan found the top corner after good work by Archie. Half time 1- 0 - 2nd half both teams battled with Panthers holding there ground and all players sticking to there individual jobs- however with the game moving i to last few minutes game descended into the unsavory side of football when Archie after making a clearance was intentionally caught from the front and behind by 2 Wrenna player who disgracefully took him out.Archie had to be carrried off and took straight to A&E with suspected broken leg ( as we speak we are awaiting update).the boyd held firm in the face of adversity to claim a great well deserved win. Well done boys we are starting to discover the opposition dont like it when we give them a game and r no push overs. The hard work on the training pitches is starting to show through. 🙂⚽️👍
U12s Jungle awarded to Alfie Superb performance at right back, great tackling and awareness and really contributed to our 1 nil win! Well done Alfie 👏 👍
Matchday 8 - 12/12/2021
Panthers Jungle U12 v Wordsley Wasps U12 Cup score 0 -6 - really good game between to teams that looked to both compete and play football - panthers started brigthly having much of the play in 1st 15 mins - then a couple of mixs ups saw us to nil down. However the team rallied and kept pressing forward unfortunately went a further 2 down to some quality finishing. 2nd half Panthers played very well with a number of exciting attacking moves which resulted in a number of good saves from the Wasps keeper. As the game wore on Wasps added 2 more goals. Really good experience for our team playing a team from Div 3 and the real difference was clinical finishing . POTM - Our Keeper Liam played the 2nd half and was absolutely outstanding comanding his area and making some great saves 😀 Really good match and good learning experience for the team.
Matchday 7 - 21/11/2021
U12 Panthers Jungle v Tividale Puma U12 score 1-2 . Another superb performance from Jungle - 1st half played some great passing football and defence marshalled superbly by Alex and Ryan and a sublime performance by Alfie Ingram at right back. Jungle deservedly led 1 nil at the interval by a superbly taken goal by Tom Bradley. Jungle started the 2nd half in similar fashion playing out from the back and counter attacking in waves. 10 mins to go and referee gave a very dubious penalty to Puma who converted to level the scores up. Again Panthers pushed on with Tyler , Matt Harry and Tom all going close. However in the dying minutes Puma broke away and scored to win the game. The lads were gutted as Panthers were by far the better team. Game marred again by certain players on Pumas team verbally abusing a number of our players with personal slurs when the game wasn't going there way. Its a sad fact the boys need to get used to but I would rather our team lose playing hard and fair than resorting to this sort of behaviour. Promising developments from our U12' s confident a lot more to come.POTM Tyler for his tireless running and effort down the wing and across the forward line - Well done young Man well deserved.
Matchday 6 - 7/11/2021
Panthers Jungle U12 v Tividale U12. Result 3-1 to the Panthers - wow, what can I say other than what a performance from our boys; each and everyone played there hearts out - 2 goals from Tom and 1 from Matt sealed a great victory - MOTM Alfie Ingram played right back today and his reading of the game and great interceptions and use of the ball was just outstanding. ⚽️⚽️⚽️🙂
Matchday 5 - 31/10/2021
Halesowen Town colts South U12 v Sedgley Panthers Jungle U12's 4-1 - good game but myself and Andy need to work to find solutions to stop conceding silly goals - every game we gift the opposition soft goals every week. We go again next week. Harry was POTM a very good game today 👍
Matchday 4 - 17/10/2021
U12's Jungle; Tividale v Panthers Jungle U12 11-1 - Hard learning experience today as we keep giving away easy goals we easily handed them 8 goals for our own failings however we do create many chances and could still have scored 7 or 8 goals today. Missed key players today and still need to recruit a couple to replace players who have left. However the team we played today need to take a serious look at how they play the game with verbal abuse used against many of our players thru the game also one player who should have been sent of for punching one of our players referee young and inexperienced still learning missed a lot of the basics. However what doesnt kill you makes you stronger onwards and upwards !
Matchday 3 - 10/10/2021
U12 Panthers v Ridge Panthers - result 0-2 Very good game of football - Panthers started the first half brightly, good passing football and went close on a number of occasions, however after 15mins against the run of play, a sloppy own goal saw us go 1 down. Again panthers pushed forward, with some great play with Alfie Liam and Tom all going close. However, Ridge scored another breakaway goal just before halftime. Second half and another good performance from Jungle, who played some great football hit the post twice and on another day could have had 4 or 5 goals with a bit of luck. Good game lots of positives to take into training this week.
Matchday 2 - 19/09/2021
Wrens Nest v Panthers Jungle U12 - Wrenna 2-1 Panthers - great game of football played by both teams - Panthers led at half time from a goal from A, who ran from half way line beating 3 players before coolly slotting the ball into corner of the net. However, Wrenna levelled the scores after 15 mins of 2nd half. Game went end to end however where was VAR when you need it as Wrenna awarded a goal that L had saved but was harshly judged to have crossed the line 😨 Lots of pressure from panthers last 10 mins but ball wouldn't go in. However team should be proud, another good performance 👍
Matchday 1 - 12/09/2021
U12s Safari vs U12s Jungle - like John Ingram said, great game to open the sesaon, both teams playing football and creating chances. Fair result for both teams, well done jungle 👏👏 Our POTM was J today, played great with his passing and creativity on and off the ball.
POTM U12 Jungle - Awarded to A.W Absolutely outstanding performance - led the team, marshalled the defence and was magnificent heading, tackling, defending and pushing forward, a good a display as i have seen - he is turning in to a very very good player. Well done young man.
