Matchday 16 - 15/03/2020

Halas Hawks (a) - 5 - 5
Dean Said:  U14 boys played Halas Hawks away today on a really bad muddy pitch with a slope; we went 2 up in 5 minutes with 2 lovely goals, totally dominating play, moving the ball and passing with confidence. Then they got one back through sloppy defending before we then scored again making it 3-2 to us.  With some more sloppy play we conceded again making it 3-3, but the lads dug deep and started playing football like we can; nevertheless, Halas caught us again making it 4-3 to Halas before they then went on and scored again  making it 5-3 to Halas.  We dug deep once again ,moving the ball round and creating spaces; we then scored making it 5-4  and with our tails up we pressed high and we scored again making it even stevens - the game finished 5-5.
Our man of the match today was MB scoring 4 goals. L got the other goal.

Matchday 15 - 08/03/2020

Halesowen Town Colts (a) - 0 - 0
Dean Said:  A bit slow getting started, but when we did we were the dominant team, going forward with K opening the scoring making it 1-0 at half time. We re-grouped at half time, making some changes to the team but looked the better team going 2-0 up with a good goal from B with some nice football being played, moving the ball around and switching the play when we could; then we conceded a goal out of the blue which made it 2-1 to us. The lads dug deep again and some more changes made a difference with us working hard and playing the ball around we scored again making it 3-1 to us with us dominating most of the match. The score could have been double figures but wasn't to be; final score 3-1.

Panthers our motm was B today - gave 110% and was outstanding on the pitch controlling the midfield and spreading the play.

Matchday 14 - 01/03/2020

Sedgley Gornal East (a) - 0 - 0
Dean Said:  Double header match today 😞😞 against Sedgley Gornal East.
1st game we were the better team and played some nice football; every one of the lads played their part in the result. Game ended 0-0.

Sedgley Gornal East (a) - 1 - 2
Dean Said:  In the 2nd game we were much the stronger side, playing the ball around and dominating play, only to fall behind half way through the 1st half against the run of play. We re-grouped at half time and came out fighting, equalising with some great play and movement off the ball. 1-1 with 10 minutes left and we continued to dominate and look for the 2nd, only to get caught out a couple of minutes from the end with a direct ball over the top and they got the 2nd goal giving them the lead - 2-1 with only minutes left. We dug deep and went on to hit the post and sent another one wide late on.  Final score 2-1 to Sedgley Gornal.
Fantastic game to watch, with our lads showing we don't give up until the end; our MOTM today was J who played really well, moving the ball around and some great individual play  👏👏🐾⚽️

Matchday 13 - 26/01/2020

Oldbury Warriors (a) - 5 - 1
Dean Said:  U14s lost today against Oldbury Warriors; by the time we switched on it was too late. but on the other hand we played some nice football at times and created chances but couldn't convert them - on another day they would have gone in. A was scorer for us and MOTM was MB who battled well and created opportunities going forward.

Rock Sports (a) - 1 - 3
Dean Said:  U14s Away at Rock sports FC; we took a while to get going today when we did we played some nice football spreading the ball all over the pitch creating chances with some swift play then we got the break through with K getting the 1st we went into half time leading; second half with a change in squad players we continued to play our game then we conceded a goal which put us on the back foot digging deep. We scored again through K which made it 2-1; both teams playing some really nice football as the game started to come to an end then with about 5 minutes left up stepped arj to make it 3-1 to us. Our motm today was J who was solid at the back.

Matchday 11 - 12/01/2020

Halas Hawks (h) - 3 - 2
Dean Said:  U14s played Halas Hawks today at home, not on our usual pitch but the ref was happy to play on the other one; was a great game to watch with some nice football being played by our lads, creating chances but against a good opposition. We found it hard to finish, but eventually we scored after going behind and the boys dug in deep and levelled the score. We went 2-1 up, only to concede and penalty which they scored making it 2-2.  With only minutes left we scored again making it 3-2 and thankfully held on for the win. Sedgley goals came from B, K and L; our motm was B.

Matchday 10 - 05/01/2020

Halesowen Town Colts (h) - 10 - 3
Dean Said:  U14s boys opened the year with a fantastic win over Halesowen Town Colts. We played some nice football and moved the ball round really well creating chances and providing opportunities for other players to score.
We came away with a 10-3 win, with goals coming from K (6), O (2).  J and Y. Our motm today was K for his double hatrick and work rate throughout the game; all the lads played their part today and everyone contributed to the outcome.

Matchday 8 - 08/12/2019

Sedgley Gornal West (h) - 4 - 1
Dean Said:  U14s boys 4-1 won against Sedgley Gornal West; good game of football to watch. Pitch wasn't that good which didn't help our style of play. Our motm today was L; goals from K, A and L x2 
Reason for motm today - L played really well, did what was asked of him and got 2 good goals in the process 👍

Matchday 7 - 17/11/2019

Kiddermister Athletic (a) - 1 - 2
Dean Said:  We couldn't convert our chances today; should have been 5 up at half time but went unto half time 1 down managed to get one back through Olly then some sloppy play and they scored again with the score ending up 2-1 defeat.
Stu  Said:  A disappointing result for the u14s today v Kidderminster Athletic losing 2-1. We played some great football in the first half and created lots of chances but we didn’t take them. They scored there 1 chance just before halftime. 
Second half wasn’t as good for us but we managed to get the equilizer through Olly, but sloppy play allowed Kidderminster to create a few chances and with 5 minutes left they scored a winner.

Dean Said:  The U14s played Perrywoods away today on a big pitch which suited our style of play; 6-0 winners with goals from B (2) A (2) Le and La. Some nice football played today.

Matchday 5 - 27/10/2019

Withymoor Colts (h) - 4 - 1
Dean Said:  Today the boys played Withymoor Colts at home  going in front from a penalty taken by K then shortly after they equalised before L bagged our 2nd.  Half time came and we went into the break winning; after an intense half time talk we started to play the way we can - the 3rd goal came from L shortly after came our 4th from L again after some nice football from the boys. Todays motm was L after getting his hat trick

Sedgley & Gornal United [CUP] (a) - 1 - 2
 Very evenly matched game - don't think we had the rub of the green to be honest.  Move on boys 👍 ⚽️🐾💜🖤
Dean Said:  Lost 2-1 against Sedgley Gornal West; not one of our better games, few decisions didn't go our way. pitch was bad plus some other factors; saying all that we battled when needed to. L scored our only goal. MOTM was B.
Stu Said:  Didn’t deserve to lose but was a tough pitch to play on and a few decisions went against us. Could of been 3-0 up at half time but missed chances. The lads battled till the end but couldn’t get the equalizer. We’ll go again next week 👍⚽

Dean Said:   Great game today from everyone 5-2 winners against Kidderminster Athletic, goals from A L and LX (3)  some good football to watch again unbeaten still after 3 matches 👏👏👍⚽⚽ 
Stu Said:  Good 5-2 win for the u14s boys today, played some good football at times , created lots of chances and could of scored more goals. Good 3 points for the lads today, well done to all the squad and bring on the next game and go again 👍⚽⚽

Dean Said:  Great atmosphere going into the game after last weeks result. Like last week the boys were up for it playing some lovely football looking composed on the ball creating chances and great movement all over the pitch from all; final score was 0-0
Stu Said:  Great game today , we played some great football but couldn’t get the goal we needed. Defensively we looked solid and was great to get a clean sheet. 
All the lads worked hard so we’ll take the point and move on to the next game.

Perrywoods (h) - 7 - 2
 Decent start to the season; a new era for the team with lots of new players joining over the summer.  Good all round performance and lots of ability on show - looks promising for a great season. Big up to our old mate Tommo who was coaching Perrywoods in their first proper competitive match - keep going fellas, thought you played well all over the park in spells - it will come lads 👏👍🐾⚽️⚽
Dean Said:  Fantastic game to watch  everyone from our goalie M to the striker K played there part today moving the ball with ease finding space and creating goal scoring opportunities; we conceded two sloppy goals but  got our heads up and built on.  Our motm today was A he had an outstanding game, as well as the majority - well done boys; one happy manager 👏👏👍⚽️🐾💜🖤
