Matchday 22- 08/05/2022
U12 Safari played Tividale Colts today, started strong going in front through Ryley then our defence made some errors, and they got one back 1-1. Soon after they got their 2nd 1-2 Tividale, going into half-time one behind.

Starting the second half strong and more organised we came close a couple of times but couldnt find the net, yet again some sloppy play in our defence and they soon got their third, 1-3 Tividale Colts Full-time.

The lads worked hard with 8 players and battled till the end when we lost another with injury  and went down to 7, so for that I decided to give the whole squad POTM.

Matchday 21- 01/05/2022
Today U12 safari played Brierley Hill Bullets 
Not alot to say really but not good enough, too many mistakes which cost us.
Final score 3-1 lost

Matchday 20- 24/04/2022
U12 safari played Tivedale Pumas today not good enough in the first conceding sloppy goals and no effort 3-0 ht Pumas.
A strong talking to and some things explained to the boys we started a lot stronger playing some nice football then from a quick free kick we got one back through Max but that didnt last long getting caught out with a pass through our deffence and there winger running onto it made it 4-1
No motm today i didnt have the trophy back to hand out

Matchday 19- 10/04/2022
U12 Safari played Ridge Panthers today starting strong and going in front after ten minutes through Reegan playing some nice football at times and creating chances going into half time leading.
Second half we started where we left off,  pressing high and we soon got out second through Ryley.  We had a corner soon after scoring and it went in OG.
Pretty much dominating the game,  Ryley got his second and our fourth.
Reegan smashing the ball against post gave the boys that little bit extra to push on, which we did and Reegan soon got his second and our fifth goal.
Still pressing we soon got out sixth through Will.
A bit of confusion at the back and they got one back 6-1 which ended up being the final score
POTM today was Reegan who had his best game for us for ages. 

 
Matchday 18 - 03/04/2022
U12 Safari played Wrens Nest today.
We started strong playing some nice football and pressing high. Then we got caught out 1-0 Wrens Nest. Still pressing we got our equaliser through Archie 1-1. With momento high, Max got our second. 
2-1 Panthers going into half time in the lead. 
 
Second half started and we were still causing them problems, then from nothing they got back level 2-2. Trying our best we couldnt find the back of the net. 
 
Final score 2-2
 
POTM today was Ryley for his work rate on and off the ball and his strong challenges

Matchday 17 - 27/03/2022
U12 Safari played Brierley Hill Bullets today starting strong and pressing high we soon got the opener through Szymon playing against a physical side today the lads battled hard and didnt back down going into half time in the lead 
Second half started how we left the 1st playing the ball around pressing high then a sloppy mistake cost us 1-1 the lads were up for it today and we soon got the lead  2-1 us through Szymon again we soon got our 3rd through Joe 3-1 us we got caught napping and they got one back but we didnt let us fade us Si got his 3rd and his hatrick 4-2 which ended up being tge final score.
POTM today was Szymon for his hat trick and outstanding work all over the pitch.

Matchday 16 - 20/03/2022
U12 Safari played Old Wulfs today, both teams starting slow with some nice football being played by both teams at times. Then a shot from nothing hit the cross bar and went in off our goal keeper 1-0 Wulfs going into half time behind. 
Come out second half, upping the tempo and taking the game to them, unfortunate not to score on a number of occasions.
Battling right to the end but couldnt get that goal we needed. Final score 1-0 Old Wulfs.
POTM Was awarded to Charlie for his fantastic defending and his strong challenges.

Matchday 15 - 13/03/2022
U12 Safari today played 2nd in the league Tivedale Pumas.
Starting the game the stronger team going two goals up in ten minutes, through Syzmon and Joe moving the ball around the pitch and pressing high some misunderstanding at the back, and they got one back 2-1. The lads still playing football, soon got our third through Syzmon 3-1 going into half time at the lead.
Second half started and we started slow they soon got another ona back 3-2 
They were on the front foot and some really sloppy defending they got back level then our defence fell apart conceeding two quick golas 3-5 Pumas. Max got us one back 4-5 which ended up to be the final score
POTM today was Joe, for his work rate, his goal and his never give up attitude.

Matchday 14 - 06/03/2022
U12 safari played Old Wulfrunians today.  

We started strong creating chances but couldnt find the back of the net. We were pretty much evenly matched going into half time level pegging at 0-0.

Starting the second half where we left off on the front foot, then a shot from outside the box caught us off guard with Old Wulfs going 1 up. Pressing high and moving the ball about, we soon got back level 1-1. Pretty much controlling the game with some fantastic saves from their goal keeper, who kept them in the game. 

Final score 1-1 

POTM today was Max - for his work rate on and off the ball, some lovely passes and general effort today.

Matchday 13 - 13/02/2022
U12s Safari played Halesowen Town Colts; we started slow,  conceding 2 goals in the first ten minutes. Swapping some of the players around, we started to play getting one back through Syzmon, then pressing high off a corner they conceded again through an own goal. 

Half-time time 2-2 

Straight after half time we went 3-2 up through Syzmon and not long after Reegan got our fourth 4-2. With the pitch getting worse, the ball got stuck and they got there 3rd 4-3 us. Some nice play moving the ball around the best we could, Will got our fifth, 5-3 Panthers. With the lads heads up we soon increased this to 7-3 with goals from Syzmon and Ryley then we got caught going forward 7-4 straight from KO they got the ball back and got there fifth. 

Final score 7-5 Panthers 

POTM today was Ryley, for his work rate,  attitude and overall performance today. Eell done! 👏👏


Matchday 12 - 06/02/2022
U12 safari played Bilbrook today, 2 minutes into the game, we opened up the scoring 1-0 Panthers. This was much the out come of the game at half time we were 11-0 up through playing some nice football and creating space. Not going to bore you with match details as it was a one side game!  f

​Panthers U12 Jungle v - Panthers U12 Safari score 0-0 - Good competitive match played hard and fair by both teams - both half's saw end to end passing football with no shortage of goal attempts by both sides.Well done both teams.

Matchday 10 - 23/01/2022

​U12s Safari played Wrens Nest today, started strong and soon had the lead through Will opening the scoring for us. Pressing high and creating chances but just couldnt put the ball in the net. Then a dodgy decision from the ref,gave them a penalty ( which wasnt as it was outside the box ) they converted 1-1 going into half time level.
Starting the second half where we left stronger and on the front foot, the better football team but couldnt convert our chances. Then a bit of sloppy play and they got there second, which was against the run of play final score 2-1 Wrens Nest.
Our POTM today was Taylor for his solid perfoance at the back and holding the defence together. 

Matchday 9 - 19/12/2021

​U12s safari played Gornal Athletic today in a local derby. We started strong, playing the ball around and creating chances but couldn't finish them off. Today was a lot stronger performance against a team that has beat us twice, a sloppy mistake led to Gornal 1st. We picked ourselves up and went at them giving as good as we got. Football wise the stronger team going into half time 1-0 down. Second half was very much the same then a long ball caught us out 2-0 Gornal and that was the final score
No POTM today, I didnt give it out, no reason for this.

Matchday 8 - 12/12/2021

​U12s safari played Netherton Colts ( div 3 ) in the cup today, starting strong and looking the better team a mistake made by the midfield gave them a chance to open the scoring 1-0 Netheron. We then pressed high and played some nice football and we got back into the game 1-1 with Will making it level as we went to half time. 

Second half and a long ball over the top caught us out 2-1 Netherton, but we carried on with our game plan and Syzmon levelled it up 2-2. With minutes to go, we went close to putting them out, but sadly missed our chance. And so we went to penalties.
Evenly matched again after 5 each, we were level 3-3 and went to sudden death, we missed ours they had to score to go through which they did. 
POTM today was the whole team,  everyone played fantastic, did what was asked of them and some stepped up their game.
Super, super proud of them today!

Matchday 7 - 14/11/2021

​U12's  Safari with their arm bands on for Remembrance Day .
Today we had a league cup game against a team in a higher division
We started off strong using the width of the pitch, pressing high missing a couple of chances to go in front.
Then with some nice football down the right, Max opened the scoring for us 1-0 we passed the ball around nicely creating more chances but couldn't find the net, going into half time 1-0 up.
We started the second half strong, then through pressure they conceded their 2nd through an og 2-0 panthers. We switched off and got caught napping 2-1. We started to play football again and were the much better team going forward we got our 3rd.
Final score 3-1 Panthers.
POTM today was Joe for his hard work up and down the pitch. 

Matchday 6 - 7/11/2021

​U12's  safari played Halesowen Town Colts in a close game. Halesowen went 1-0 up through some sloppy play by ourselves, we soon got back on track through Joe 1-1 playing some nice football, switching play, pressing high and creating chances, but just couldn't find the back of the net. With a quick break they caught us out 2-1, going into half time behind. A stern talk at half time and we started strong and soon got our second through Joe 2-2,  both teams playing football and creating chances both ends. They then got their 3rd 3-2 Halesowen FT score. POTM today was Harley,  for his strong challenges, never give up attitude and all round, really good play.

Matchday 5 - 24/10/2021

​U12's  Safari played Tividale Colts today. We conceded an early goal through a long ball over the top, then Ryley found the back of the net for us 1-1.  keeping the ball and swift passing we got our 2nd through Joe 2-1 Panthers. We got caught out trying to do too much and Tividale got there 2nd, followed by the 3rd 3-2 Tividale Colts.  With minutes to go to half time we got back in it 3-3 half time,  Ryley with his 2nd of the game. We came out strong second half and quickly got our 4th through Ryley, 4-3 Panthers, then from no where, we were 5 up through Alfie, 5- Panthers. Switching off, we conceded another 5-4, but the that didnt phase us, as we pressed on and got our 6th through Will, 6-4 Panthers. Passing the ball around creating chances we got our 7th through Archie, final score 7-5 Panthers.  POTM today was Ryley, for his goals, work rate and effort all over the pitch.


Matchday 4 - 17/10/2021

​U12's  played Ridge Panthers today, started slow and pressing high creating chances but couldnt find the back of the net going into half time 0-0. 
Second half we started as we left off passing and moving the ball round the pitch, then Ryley opened the scoring for us 1-0, swiftly afterward he then got his second through some direct play. We kept on pressing and moving the ball around, chances coming left right and centre. We then got our third and Rylry getting his hat-trick. Final score 3-0 Panthers. POTM today was Taylor, for his strong passing and control of the defence.


Matchday 3 - 10/10/2021

U12 safari played Gornal Athletic today,  started off strong passing the ball about and pressing. Then we got caught out with some sloppy defending -  1-0 Gornal. Not concentrating, they got a quick second - 2-0 Gornal, going into half time behind. I made some changes, then a long ball over the top caught us out 3-0. Sloppy play and not passing the ball by us, Gornal got their fourth. Still trying hard and working hard we created a couple of chances, but just couldnt find the back of the net. Final score 5-0 Gornal Athletic. 
POTM chosen by the opposition was Henry for making some good saves and being strong in his goal kicks. 

Matchday 2 - 19/09/2021

U12 safari played Bilbrook today in an early KO.
We started on the front foot going 1-0 up in the first minute through R, we then 
got a second 2-0. A bit of sloppy play we conceded 1, but with some nice play, pressing high we got our 3rd through R. Then up steps R for us making it 4-1, he then quickly got his second, going into half time 5-1. Settling the boys down, coming back out from H/T looking hungry for more, which didnt take long! A strong win for us today with loads of positive to be taken from the game. Final score 13-1 Panthers
POTM today was Ryley for playing well, working hard and scoring 5 great goals


Matchday 1 - 12/09/2021

U12s Safari vs U12s Jungle - like John Ingram said, great game to open the sesaon, both teams playing football and creating chances. Fair result for both teams, well done jungle 👏👏
