Matchday 10 - 23/05/2021
U11 Safari played Brierley Hill Bullets today. We played some great football, creating chances but not going our way, then we managed to get one through Ryley. Keeping the ball we got another through Max X-X to Panthers going into half time. Second half we conceded an early goal X-X Panthers. With the game getting physical and the boys trying to play football, we let another one in X-X. H the goalie then got injured, so had to put an outfield player on, who did really well. Final score X-X. 

POTM was A P for working hard in a different position to normal and he never giving up. Well done.


Matchday 9 - 16/05/2021
U11 safari played Old Wulfs South today. Fantastic game of football today went into half time X-C. Two minutes into second half m opened the scoring for us X-X Panthers. Moving the ball great, all over the pitch creating chances then we gave a free kick away and they got the equalizer X-X, both teams playing football and pushing hard. Final score X-X
POTM today was H, with some great saves.

Matchday 8 - 09/05/2021
U11 SAFARI played Old Wolfs East.
Entertaining game to watch,  both teams playing some nice football, we opened the scoring through T, going into half time they nicked one back to make it X - X at half time. Starting strong second half and creating chances we got caught out X - X Wolfs. The lads battled hard to get back on top, R got our second X-X, both teams battling to the end final score X-X.
POTM today was H for his hard work, strong tackling and work rate on and off the ball. 

Matchday 7 - 02/05/2021
U11 SAFARI played Halesowen Town Colts today. We opened the scoring with Alfie getting his 1st goal for the team playing some cracking football we got the second 2-0 through Taylor. The lads were buzzing at this time we then went and got the 3rd 3-0. A bit of sloppy play let them back in the game 3-1 then will made it 4-1 going into half time. We came out fighting, then we scored again through max 5-1 before they caught us off guard to make it 5-2. Then Ryley got his second - 6-2. Not concentrating we gave them another - 6-3 and by this time I was losing track of who scored 🙈 then Will got his second - 7-3 then from nothing they got another two making it 7-5. With just minutes left Will got his 3rd - final score 8-5  to Panthers.
Motm was Will great work on and off the ball and for his hattrick.

Matchday 6 - 25/04/2021
U11 safari played Wolverines; really good start to game for my lads. Some great play and looked threatening going forward, then a long kick from the keeper bounced over ours: 1-0 Wolverines.
Battling hard, and passing the ball nicely, unfortunately we conceded again going into half time 4-0 down.
Team talk raised their spirits; second half we came out fighting and got one back through R: 4-1,  then we got another through T 4-2. Lack of concentration we then conceded 2 goals - 6-2 then up steps A to make it 6-3 then we went again through R 6-4 then through some nice play by the opposition they scored 7-4 (final score).
Motm today was B - strong at the back working hard.

Matchday 5 - 18/04/2021
U11 Safari played Halesowen Town Colts today great game to watch pressing high some great tackles but unlucky not to score 0-0 final score
Potm today was chosen by the opposition which was AJ for an excellent performance on the pitch.

Matchday 3 - 04/04/2021

U11 safari played Old Wulfs; we went 1-0 up with T scoring, playing some attractive football  and battling hard as the game went on some of the lads started to feel the heat and it was taking it of them we then conceded a goal to make it 1-1.
5 min to go and we conceded another making it 2-1 Old Wolfs; we battled to the end - missed a chance right at the end final score 2-1 0ld Wolfs.
Motm chosen by the opposition was M.

COVID LOCKDOWN

Matchday 2 - 04/10/2020

U11's  played Withymoor Colts East. Started off brightly, playing the ball around nice and making chances, then a silly mistake cost us a goal; we got our heads up and started to play again then we conceded another. The lads got themselves together and got one back to get us back into the match, then through lack of concentration we conceded another; that didn't phase us  and we kept pressing and they caught us out going into half time. Half time chat and the lads went back onto the field looking lively and creating opportunities to score but couldn't find the net then we conceded another lack of concentration caught us out again. The lads played really well in stages, just need to stay focused and concentrate a little more; our motm chosen by me was R with a hat trick.

Matchday 1 - 27/09/2020

U11 Safari played Tipton Youth, a well established team - we took a bit to get going and when we did we  played some really nice football  going up and down the pitch creating chances but couldn't find the net; half time we were losing x-x. After a team talk we turned it around; a lot more positive - heads were up and creating some more chances we finally found the net  getting one back lifting the lads heads playing some good football. Battled right to end - final result x-x Tipton our MOTM was R chosen by myself.
